In cases where particularly stringent requirements are placed on the precision of injection moulded parts, it is frequently not sufficient to centre the two mould halves using locating guide pillars and locating guide bushes.
The new HASCO flat locating unit Z086/... complements the proven centring elements in an ideal manner. The tight-fitting tolerance enables reliable and highly precise centring of injection and die-casting moulds, especially for flat injection moulding applications with small opening strokes. The space-saving design permits rapid and precise guide functions in the mould parting surface.
Space-saving and high-precision
The DLC-coated flat locating unit offers excellent surface slip characteristics and thus minimises friction and wear and consequently the outlay on maintenance too. In addition to ensuring highly precise centring through a very tight fit, the Z086/… has a short guide that provides excellent locking against transverse forces. The space-saving lateral mounting makes the flat locating unit easy to install.
