Process-Synchronized Cooling Solution for the Plastics Industry
10.03.2021
With the Ecodry 4.0 system, the company’s Microgel, Turbogel and Thermogel process-synchronized mold temperature control units are used to provide an operating temperature range of 41 to 392°C (5 to 200°C).
All mold-temperature control units are connected to an Ecodry central adiabatic water cooling system installed outdoors, which rejects the heat extracted from processes to ambient. The temperature controls are digitally synchronized with the molding machines and automatically operated by them. As a result, says the manufacturer, processors can use the mold-temperature control units along with the adiabatic water cooling system to research the best cooling parameters and cycling sequence of heating or cooling for each zone of a mold to maximize quality and throughput for each product.
