- Managing Partner Renate Keinath hands over key as symbolic gesture
- More space for consulting, training and service
The new Arburg Technology Center (ATC) was inaugurated in Inzersdorf, Kremstal, Austria, on Friday, 9 March 2018. At an event attended by 100 guests, Arburg Managing Partner Renate Keinath symbolically handed over the key to Eberhard Lutz, Managing Director of Arburg Austria. Appropriately for such as significant occasion, she was accompanied by Managing Director Sales Gerhard Böhm for the official handover of the new premises. The high-profile guest list included Werner Pamminger, Managing Director of the Business Upper Austria agency.
In her speech, Managing Partner Renate Keinath emphasised that "the opening of the new ATC is an important milestone for our presence in Austria and underlines the importance of this highly demanding market for us."
"Wir sind da" – in Austria
She explained that since the establishment of the subsidiary in 2010, the company has systematically developed and expanded its activities in line with the Arburg "Wir sind da." brand promise. She added that this was proven on a daily basis by the team in Austria with their uncompromising concern for their customers and partners. "Over the past few years, we have strengthened our sales and service team here in Austria, successfully implementing numerous projects," said the Managing Partner, thanking the customers for their confidence in Arburg and their successful cooperation.
Continuous growth
Managing Director Sales Gerhard Böhm also expressed his gratitude, emphasising that, "We are very proud that our customer base has grown continuously since the establishment of the subsidiary." He went on to say that the entire Arburg portfolio is in high demand across all industries. This increasingly involves automation solutions and turnkey projects, which Arburg offers as a primary contractor and which cover the entire spectrum: from the design, implementation and commissioning of the individual turnkey solutions through to the after-sales service.
Under one roof: consulting, training, spare parts and service
"Our goal is always to continuously extend our first-class customer support," said Gerhard Böhm. Eberhard Lutz, Managing Director Arburg Austria, explained that the new ATC offers the best possible conditions for this, "With 300 square metres of floor space, we have significantly more room for machines, spare parts, practical tests and intensive training." This will make it possible to extend activities in the areas of technical consulting, spare parts logistics and training.
Showroom for five Allrounder injection moulding machines
The centrepiece of the ATC is the showroom, which offers space for up to five Allrounder injection moulding machines. Not only can customers see our machine technology in operation here, but also, more importantly, they can try out their own moulds. The showroom also offers new opportunities for practical training in Arburg technology. Moreover, courses are available to customers at their own premises, specifically tailored to the respective company and the needs of the employees. The Arburg team in Austria has also been expanded to include more service technicians for quick and expert on-site assistance.
The inauguration event was rounded off by an address from Werner Pamminger, Managing Director of the Business Upper Austria agency. He congratulated the company on its investment in Kremstal: "With more than 80 plastics companies in the vicinity, the new Arburg location is in a good 'ecosystem' that reflects the entire value chain." He also asserted his belief that innovation will be driven forward through cooperation, something he admitted was very important to him. "As a local development agency, we believe that our job is not only to locate companies here, but also to support their innovation activities," said Werner Pamminger. He sees Arburg as an important partner in this regard.
