(Heidelberg / Accra) Against the background of ever increasing imports of machinery and equipment to West Africa the German trade show specialists fairtrade organise plastprintpack West Africa 2015. The 3rd edition of the International Trade Show on Plastics, Printing & Packaging Solutions and Material takes place from 1 to 3 December 2015 at the Accra International Convention Centre in Accra, Ghana. Top brands and a national Spanish pavilion are to profit from this professional platform for West Africa.
According to VDMA – the German Engineering Association, imports of packaging machinery and equipment to West Africa have been increasing with a CAGR of 17 percent over the past five years, up to 321 million Euros in 2014. With 23 percent annually, the imports of printing technology went up even faster, amounting to 103 million Euros in 2014. And plastics machinery was imported at a value of 159 million Euros in 2014. These figures reflect West Africa’s great potential for machinery and equipment manufacturers.
International top brands like Bosch, Polyoak Packaging and Windmöller & Hölscher as well as a national pavilion from Spain have realized the potential on the promising market in Ghana and West Africa and have already reserved their exhibition space at plastprintpack West Africa 2015.
To create valuable synergies for exhibitors and visitors alike, plastprintpack West Africa is held in conjunction with agrofood West Africa, the 3rd International Trade Show on Agriculture, Food, Beverage & Packaging Technology and Food, Beverages & Hospitality.
