In addition, Arburg is the first company in Baden-Württemberg to have received triple quality certification.
An exciting induction week
In order to make the transition from school to working life easier, the newcomers can expect an exciting introductory week following the official welcoming ceremony. During this week they have an opportunity to become more familiar with the company, the individual departments and the product range. In addition to a detailed tour of the company, the programme also includes team events and a barbecue dinner. To hone their practical skills, the newcomers will find ideal conditions in the 2,000 square-metre apprenticeship centre. During their apprenticeship time, they will also pass through the individual departments and work in interdisciplinary project groups. This includes activities in the fields of recruitment marketing and the apprenticeship homepage as well as involvement with children and young people in numerous events, including the Plastic Experience Day, the Technolino Day, the Girls Days, the annual Arburg Info Days and Top Job Fair as well as the Summer Academy and the summer holiday programme.
Programme covers 19 skilled professions
Arburg's apprenticeship programme is wide-ranging and currently includes 19 professions and degree courses. This year, 28 students of industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, (business) information technology and electrical engineering will complete their practical apprenticeship at Arburg. The two new business studies courses in media and communications management, as well as in forwarding, transport and logistics, are part of the mix for the first time. In addition, there are eleven and 46 trainees respectively, who are training for commercial and technical professions and who plan to become mechatronics technicians, process engineers, industrial mechanics, electronics technicians for automation technology, industrial clerks or technical product designers.
